A bit unfair comparing us with the Storm, haven't the Storm won a few big games in recent years?

That's 'rich' coming from a club who is allegedly currently being looked at as to how many players they have employed in marketing and development roles - I think that breach will be far more significant than Norths piddly $4500 odd "mis payment"!
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

Maybe I misread it but I thought you were conceding, in the NA v CD review thread, that North were paying over the cap when you said 'Ain't that the truth!' in reply to the comment that North were paying a ****load of money for 5 goals in their last 6 quarters.

Disagreed, even half of the salary cap for 5 goals in 6 quarters would be a sh!tload too much.

SANFL pays direct for a development officer in each zone ... in the Eagles case Brad Geddes.
I dont think Clubs set the wage of the SANFL development officers let alone pay it.

Not an unusual practice off the top of my head Trent Goodrem does the same role at Central and Lachlan Button at Glenelg, there may be more.

To my knowledge only other "marketing and development" people at the Eagles are
- Marketing Manager (Full Time) ..... Abel Podger (not a player)
- Community Relations Manager (Part Time) ..... ME

When do I get a game OTR ????

Funny OTR suddenly you have gone very quiet
Perhaps if OTR can not prove what he has stated the MODS should remove his post .Or someone may get the club in question involved

IN fact when I talk to the clubs Chariman/president at training I may well mention this site running an unfounded claim .

I would think the Eagles would be too strong in this one and ease away to a 4 + goal win.

Spot on. Anyone tipping us to win based on current form need look no further than the overall picture of the league this year - unpredictable and responsive to previous weeks efforts.

Sorry mickyj for not spending my whole life waiting on the internet to respond to you! G

you dish it out but you bleat like baby when it comes back in spades! You (and Phil H - suprised by him!) getting all excited without knowing what I have ALLEGEDLY been told. Perhaps the ALLEGED problem is not so much who is officially in development / marketing roles at WWT and above board but those players receiving payments for "supposed work" in those areas? Allegedly this has been looked at for quite sometime over the past few seasons.

Also Mickyj - I'll make sure I pass onto Mr. Slaven your concern for your club when I see him Sunday - after all we did work together for some considerable time. I bet he tells me more about YOUR club than you will ever get told? He did once mention that he gets sick of being harrassed by supporters? If the cap fits.....!

MY TIP: WWT by 7 points

I think you may have missed a "0" there, on North's current form 70 points would be a good result
