Inflating your own self worth staritski  .
Don't let facts get in the way of your nonsense mate.

Oh sorry voice, i forgot about the massive crowds you were getting when you were nearly finished. This thread isnt about sticking it up any team.Conversley, its about keeping the comp strong. Having a competitive Sturt is also important, as it is Glenelg etc. If any one thinks that a continual weak Norwood and Port will do the SANFL any favours will need their head read. So get off your high horse champ, and think about how you reply.

Norwood nearly finished are they champ? Could we be rid of Port and Norwood all in the same year?
Norwoods crowds are inflated somewhat due to having Friday night games. I know alot of people, including myself, that head to Norwood every now and then to watch even when my sides not playing. I've done the same with West matches this year.
Btw, I'm sure kids get counted in crowd figures. They don't count ticket stubs to get the figure, they have a click counter in their hands.

And then North can go because they're knobs, Centrals can go because they keep beating you in games that matter and the Eagles will go because, actually no one cares why the Eagles will go. At this rate you'll be playing with yourself Voice.

A strong comp needs teams teams with a good supporter base. Whether people like it or not, SA footy needs a healthy and vibrant Norwood and Port to keep its place as the premier comp outside the AFL (or the expanded VFL as many people see it).

Understand where you are coming from staritski, but really its time for the both of you to pull your fingers out and climb back up the ladder. Hell we did it and we were on the bones of our ass a few years back.
Most people on here know that a healthy NWD and PT is good for the SANFL but we don`t need it shoved down our throat every second or third topic, we`ve heard it all before.

Can't read sarcasm topsy? The fact that highlighted "crowds when we were nearly finished" regarding Sturt in the 90's and his comparison of that to Norwood's situation now didn't switch any lights on for you? You conveniently left that out of your quote mate.

what a bunch of bitches. simple fact, whether you like them or not, the SANFL would be far worse off without them, in fact, without any team probably.

And that is the point. Not one side is more valuable to the comp than any other.

And looking at tonight, I think you are the one living in the past. Sturt are a rabble mate.

As for crowds, the Norwood v Port crowd last week was a lot bigger that the crowd tonight. So much for Sturt's drawing capacity

Easy after a win isn't mate. Let's see if you actually make finals this year mate. Other than that, congrats on your big win. Outplayed us easily. Enjoy.

The loss of any team from the SANFL would be a disaster and we should never let that happen.
We all love our own clubs, most with a passion.

The inescapable fact is that a Port or Norwood in full flight playing well and winning consistently has the potential to draw bigger crowds than say a xxxxxx. POTENTIAL !
When Sturt and Glenelg were bottom all those years no one went to their games.
When Norwood and Port are in that position those two clubs still pull good crowds.
