Cant remember the last time Westies beat North so they are due. Reckon this will be a cracker of a game if both sides can get their best sides on the Park, think history maybe made Friday night, Round 1 1st game a draw

west wont win because of the ultra defensive game plan they have, they'll be lucky to get to 9 goals & therefore north will win comfortably as they'll get to about 15 goals, yes norths gameplan is defensive BUT when they get the ball it is attack attack & attack because they still have 3 or 4 in their forward lines, you knockers of me/mal knock us because of 'our personas' for want of a better term yet in the wwwt/west trial game thread it is mentioned & not one bite yet mal posted something today & it took 21 minutes to bite   yep just a low personal attack at us

Perhaps it only took 21 minutes, bayman, because that's when we went on-line, or because we generally rate you and Mal more than some of the Eagles fans making that comment. There were no personal attacks.

Maybe you and mal get knocked because you fail to realize football tactics change.

I was going to say something in the other thread, but couldn't be bothered.

yes they (tactics) have changed & will continue to change, however west are as i said ultra defensive & that will get you so far & if you want proof see st kilda & how far that got them last year...heatbreak & yes i know what that's like ;)

I would take runner-up over finishing in any other position (except premiers of course) every day of the year. Bad analogy.

Pumped for this. It's a weird feeling this year. Going to games with some sort of expectation to win hasn't happened since 2003/4. We have a group of 10 of us going. Hopefully a big crowd gets there!

I'll be the same with not being able to concentrate. Lucky I'm in stores and not on the production line so I should have time to listen to the broadcast.
