the attitude is completely different, most of the lads have been excited by pre-season training and its shown
if they dont win anymore then 13 games this year then i will be absolutely shell-shocked

Fuller to face familiar foe
Ron Fuller watches over training at his new club
NEW South coach Ron Fuller expects to feel a bit of emotion this Saturday when he sees the side he coached to four grand finals and a premiership run on to Hickinbotham Oval to play against his Panthers.
The February 27 trial will be Fuller’s first match as South coach and ironically the Eagles, whom he coached for nine seasons before resigning at the end of last season, will be his opponent.
``I haven’t given it any thought to be honest,’’ Fuller said.
``But I’m sure on the day when I see a lot of guys who I coached run out for the Eagles I’ll feel a bit of emotion.
``It’s good it’s happening early, so I can get it out of the way and move forward with what I’m doing at South.’’
Ironically, the Eagles will wear a new predominantly gold strip for the first time in Saturday’s match, a move Fuller pushed for when he was at the club.
``I think I’ll be a proud to see them in the mainly gold colours,’’ Fuller said.
``It was something I pushed for when I was at the club, to give the side a point of difference to every other team.
``So I think it’s terrific that it has happened.’’
The match will give Fuller the chance to see what he hopes will be a new era at South.
The Panthers have recruited AFL experienced Guy O’Keefe, who spent time on the Western Bulldogs list, and former Essendon rookie Kade Klemke.
Both are expected to play on Saturday.
Sam Livingston (Murray Bushrangers) and Taylor Whitford (North Launceston) will also suit up in Panther colours for the first time but Fuller says he is also excited to see how a number of 2009 players fare after getting big preseasons under their belts.
``Michael Handby and Ben Warren are as fit as they have been for a long time and blokes like Jake Veide, Jacob Crate and Nick Murphy have all had big preseasons,’’ Fuller said.
``I’m realistic and know that it will take time to turn things around but I don’t want to put any boundaries on how many games we can win this year.
``You have to aim to win every match you play and I’m excited about some of what I’ve seen since I’ve been down here.’’
Panthers v Woodville-West Torrens, Saturday, February 27, at Hickinbotham Oval. Reserves start 11am, League 1.30pm.

That is a seriously weak eagles side. Goes to show how reliant we are on Crows players and Treeby/Mckenzie/Powell.
How the f##k can Hicks be getting a game??????
Given our non-interest in targeting midfield recruits Godden must be relying on a serious improvement from some of our players or else we are going to be in trouble.
Anyone know whether Rob Fiacchi has finally retired? He isn't named
