Former champ Phil Brooksby son played u/18 last year and like his dad is one big strong lump of a lad and can play. Will play senior footy but unfortunately not long enough for South with AFL snouts hovering.

In terms of debutants, I think Scott Lycett will come in and play some good footy on his way to the Gold Coast.

For those that have already debuted, I think Zane Kirkwood, Ryan McInerney and Kory Beard will be three that will take the step up to reliable players this year.

For us my thoughts would be to keep your eye on Curtis Perrey, Tarak Redigolo and Jake Veide. All of whom are giving the impression at training that they have taken the next step forward over summer.

I think this needs to be the year Tarek Redigolo really steps up & cements a spot in the midfield or across half back - I believe he can become a 200+ game player for SAFC & superstar in the SANFL
