The SANFL could ensure that there are no match clashes by having a friday night, saturday day & night, and sunday day games each week so that bayman can go to every match, instead of 50 or 60 of the 90 odds matches a season.

And while they're at it, surely bayman has earned life SANFL membershp and should be let into every game for nix. ;)

Fine by me so Central would get 20 home games in the season as their the only team to play Saturday nights, could we go 20-0 nah we probably drop one game ;)

if ur the only team to play sat night, fair chance u would go 20-0 ;)

Whilst Curtain raisers to AFL games probably don't hit the fixture next season, the fact that they are including AFL matches into the season ticket price may well be a pre-cursor to it happening in future seasons

Appears to me the SANFL club members are coughing up due to the Power's inadequacies. Crows don't need the extra attendances so can only assume it's for the Power's benefit. I wouldn't go to a Power game if you paid me - but appears I am having to pay not to go!

Just for fun, I've written to the SANFL saying I've just returned from interstate and am looking at joining my SA team and taking season ticket.
However, I've heard I'll finish up paying for tickets for Power matches I don't want.
As I don't want to pay for them only to waste them, and wouldn't go to a Power match, what is happening?
It will be interesting to see what they say if they reply.

Does anyone know if the home-match-only tickets will similarly be bumped up in price to artificially inflate the crowds of an ailing AFL club?

Its for "selected games" so I doubt it.

Interestingly though Woodville-West Torrens have indicated 'selected games' while Central Districts have not indicated this.

If it is selected games, in Port's case, the tickets could be on E-bay for similar prices to some of Britney Spears tickets on there currently (50 cents).

Why wouldn't "selected games" mean the games played after the SANFL curtain raiser?

That was what prompted me to think it was a curtain raiser scenario.
