I too attended Underdale High School and I am somewhat confused as to your perception that the teachers at the school showed little interest in your, or indeed any of your colleague's education. To besmirch the name of the teachers at that fine establishment is outrageous to say the least.

Mr.Morley would be horrified. ;)

Does anyone know what happened to the deaf Port Adelaide supporter with the moustache. Cant recall seeing him for a while. Was always at another SANFL game if port werent playing with his footy throwing it up and trying to hit the other peoples footys during breaks. Was also at the cricket all the time as well.

Yeah, I still saw him at games during the '09 season, I remember having kicks with him on the oval in the early to mid 90's.

1/ do remember seeing him at games, was a very funny bloke.

2/ Is Tommy a young lad around 22-25 supports West Ham if so he doesn't really go to games but is still in contact with samUUUUdogs and a few other friends.

4/ That couple now sit on the wings and are definatley at all home games normally have a couple of flags as well, most commonly i see them in front of the scoreboard at Elizabeth Oval.

He's probably made it to just under half the games this year.
Here's a pic of Alex I took at the game against the Eagles at Unley this year
He was also at all the finals except the GF, unless he didn't make it around to say hello to the cheer squad that day.
He makes his own way to games on the bus and I usually see him during the week at a bus stop on Marion Road.

I have seen Alex at Sturt + non-sturt games. He always ask me who is out for the bloods then he goes around telling everybody he has done it himself. Which i think is great

Alex is often at Woody Oval when Sturt arent playing or have already played, always stops me to ask who is or isnt playing too!! One game at Woody oval last year he was getting the info from i think Ben Schwarze as he was keeping warm on the exercise bike on the becnh during the magoos.

good on him he is harmless.... good that people like him with iterlectual dissabilities can go to the footy and enjoy themselves-eg ernie the eagles supporter

Westies Sarge wrote:haha very funny i wrote that at about 2am...... anyway i never said spelling was my strong point i did go to underdale high school, all we learnt there was how to bludge as none of the teachers gave a crap about teaching

Small world I went to underdale Prisoner of war camp as well back in my day it was slighty better than Thebie Tech and Kidman Park was just going co-ed and I lived on the wrong side of the street for Kidman Park .
Was warned by an older female friend to watch out if wearing the school tie as you would get flushed that never happened but a hell of a lot more did.
I wasn't overly keen on the teachers either I was stopped from doing two history subjects in yr12 by the senior history teacher.Part way through the first month she said why didn't u do both !! oh well its all worked out in the end not ;)
At least I wasn't stopped from fishing ;)
In case any one asks I left at the end of 1979 30 yrs ago age 16 gee I'm old

I finished year 12 in 1992 and Mr.Morley was the Principal before my time, was just throwing his name out there for the old timers.

Mr.Donaldson was the Principal in my time there.

Funny they were like that in the 70's
Maths teachers that went to the bookroom for a smoke part way through the lesson.
An English teacher looked like ossie osborne from 2009
A metal work teacher that jumped up and down on projects yelling you killed it .

So nothing changes except the school grounds got smaller .
