Who should be the new Panthers Coach?

Postby Navy2005 » Thu Oct 08, 2009 6:38 pm

Who should be the new Panthers Coach?

I reckon that the club could do far worse than giving 6 time GSFL premiership coach Barry Pilmore a go at it.

or

Former Reserves Coach and 4 time SFL premiership coach Trevor Potts a crack at it.

with due respect i think these days when you have players from all over australia you have (not that you should) to have a coach that is known so he gets full respect of the playing group immediately (roy laird & ron fuller the exceptions) & pottsy was a great coach at plympton
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Barry Pilmore - GSFL? This job at South is in the big league with a club in real serious trouble
Trevor Potts - reference from Norwood would not be good - too old
Darren Mead - agree with the 'nut' bit

Any of these 3 will perpetuate the problem at South :?

the trouble with south is the last 3 blokes to my knowledge that had them going 'competively' all left for a variety of reasons, anderson, pyman & cahill.........perhaps they should get bob davis back from geelong or don scott & get one of them to complete their coaching stints at south

Brenton Honor.

Why not? The guy is clearly a football expert; that's what he gets billed as in the Sunday Mail.
