Maybe it's time to consider a new name down at Brighton Rd how about Glenelg Chokers. If you can't handle the heat in the September kitchen boys you're better off not being there at all.

Yes its hard to argue with you but we are only ONE club your 2 clubs are not much better

This time next week there will be 8 teams that have choked, by definition only the premiership team can claim to have not choked....

While it hurts like hell now, and this is now concession, but give me dropping out in the 2nd last game of the year over writing off our season in July which has happened way too often for our footy club over the years...

GL DO NOT CHOKE
in Preliminary finals
How does losing todays Prelim Final constitute a choke ?
They beat the same team by a lap in the Prelim Final last year
In fact they have now played 2 Prelim Finals in 2 years and are 1 win 1 loss
Im a bit confused ????????????????????????????
Maybe Im a bit daft but a team witha 13-6 record in Prelim finals are not chokers

Prelims? What are they? Its all about the Grand Finals.

Talkin about
Prelim finals = GL sensational 13-6

Not talking about Grand Finals otherwise Im agreeing with u
Grand Finals = GL chokers 4-13

No I won't touch your anus.
The choking tag is deserved at Glenelg due to them not losing a game in 5 months, finishing Minor Premier, & exiting the finals in straight sets.

doubt it- Sturt will be going in as underdogs with nothing to lose, while if Centrals lose, they have the runs on the board already & most likely people will talk about an end of an era

The biggest problem with the dreaded "choking" term is that it implies the Bays threw the games away and doesn't offer much respect to the performances of their opponents, who quite simply outplayed them .. Not by a lot, but enough to get the choccies.

Outplayed them? Were you at the same game I was? The only way (and very important way!) Sturt outplayed the Bays today is in the ability to kick straight. Glenelg was the better team in terms of most indicators today, but the complete inability to kick straight, not just this week but last week and many others over the year, has cost us a crack at the granny. Damn shame.

Gutted.

I think so, happy to agree to disagree, my comments weren't meant as a swipe at the Bays.
