I keep saying it but in last years GF we promoted C Kane who made his league debut in the GF, wont happen this year which is great

His debut was actually Rd 2 v the Eags last year but the GF was his 2nd. However your point is 100% spot on. If we do happen to make the GF we're unlikely to be calling up an inexperienced player but someone who has played the majority of the season in the 1s
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Agree with the selectors on the demotion of Westbrook and Cheep, they just don't give enough. Westbrook looks absolutely lost, maybe its time to try him in the back lines. Cheep just doesn't get enough touches. Would try and get rid of him at the end of the season. He is on big money and not earning it. Brodie Smith seems to be having a charmed run. He might be a good player in the future, but right now we should be settling an experienced side for the finals.

Ferrett, agree 100% with your comments. Westbrook looks to have lost his touch since he had a few injuries and Cheep is a major disappointment and deserves to lose his spot. Brodie Smith did show a bit last week but he is not ready and could get shown up against the top 3 teams. Tend to think we need another tall player (weather permitting) against Glenelg.

I agree with Ferret and Jackal re Westbrook should have been in the two's a while ago.
Cheep is being played in the wrong spot .Ron put him on the wing and he was BOG!! Since then he hasn't played on the wing another of rons dummy spits I suppose he is about as flexible(ron that is) as a stobie pole.

I wont get into an argument over Fairclough. But he has improved in the seconds .
Plus people the writing was on the wall about the inclusions this week or should I say in the Coaches Comments Email all inclusions were highlighted by ron for their performances in the seconds.
Wasn't it nice for Mark Jeffries to say thank you to those of us at the oval for the 8.30 am start ;)
