Did anyone hear on the news the other night that Daniel Healy has allegedly taken legal action against the North Adelaide Football club for $100K in damages for breach of contract?

Yep and its on The Roost.

On the surface, if he had a contract, he would get paid UNLESS their are clauses in the contract that are in dispute.

Healy is a joke as a coach and his record shows that. the guy cant coach and its laughable that the power have taken him back. I think an agreement was struck between the 2 once the writing was on the wall as blind freddy could see he was getting the chop and whilst I have no trouble with putting future plans in place , once you do that you can not seek a higher payout from the club. Be a man shake the hands of the people in charge and move on when getting the flick I reckon. IMO , the law suit will go nowhere as he is like a baby who spat out the dummy. I look to this year with renewed enthusiasm and optimism now we have a strong person in charge and lets hope I along with all other members / supporters can hear Francou at the 1/4 & 3/4 time huddles as healy was a church mouse!

Perhaps too much has been made of a rant in response to a (probably?) benign comment about a supporters' forum.

For what it's worth I get a bit of a chuckle from "The Roost" at times as well, some of it is - I find - genuinely funny and very clever. The "? for The Virtual Runner" thread was a gem.



Back to the main topic. I hope that, despite what has transpired, the Healy / North situation is sorted out as amicably as possible - as soon as possible.

The regard he is or isn't held in is irrelevant .. If he feels he held a contract for $x and abided by the terms and conditions of said contract without receiving the due amount, then he's quite entitled to chase that money.

Just as entitled are North, if they feel that he either received the committed amount or broke conditions of contract, to vigorously defend themselves.

Move on, nothing for us supporters to see here ..
