Interesting to note that their was an application submitted for the position from Scotland, maybe JAS has changed her allegiances in an attempt to get to Australia !!

ok I will - the club (NAFC) will not, should not and is not big enough for two GEs ie GE (with his puppet JM) and now the new GE. North people will know what I mean. Perhaps some succession planning by the Board (wait they are not smart enough for that)

What is so unique about the Football Operations Role - every club has one? So why would he have an underhanded dig, because it is North and our $$$ verse Port's $$$???

Read all the posts and tell me comments about North creating the postion just to stop Edwards saving the Magpies isn't some of the biggest rubbish from desperate Port people again trying to shift the blame and point the finger for the poor financial state of both Port clubs!

Oh PLEASE, you accuse Port supporters of selective reading. You'll grab at anything. Find me another SANFL club with a dedicated Football Operations Manager. That makes it unique.

Quite frankly, i don't have an issue with his new role. I reckon Football Operations would be more interesting than CEO and probably for the same $$. Then again, when you've got the deep pockets of R Gerard at your disposal you can afford to chuck the cash around.
