Non taken Wedgie because who listens to North fans anyway.
How can any North fan call Fortress Woodville GAY when they wear white and try and blend in with the umpires ;) NO offence meant Wedgie .

No offence mickyj, but no offence is becoming monotonous. By the way, no offence. :)

Kenny to Full Forward! Ah yes, it's an art form, when in trouble send no.18 forward. It all came down to the fact that both sides became Salter conscious after he made a statement to the PAFC with at one stage kicking 7 out of the 9 goals scored in the match.

It's becoming habit to play poorly in the 3rd term, and one that the club can do without.

At least North didnt kick 8 goals .Seems Centrals have had two fade outs in the last quarter two weeks in a row.
And Nick outscored North until just before the siren in the second term. That could be something of a record in its self.

IMHO He looked better today with Zac and Trent to help out,he had to do it alone for to many weeks .Perhaps moving the skipper back freed Ron up to move Kenny to FF.

North were absolute rubbish for 3 quarters today.

Great atmosphere at Woodville today, with the almost empty grandstands, the 500 Eagles supporters in attendance, the cheerleaders not even having uniforms, the wrong song being played when the Eagles came out and the guy on the PA system asking the players to allow one of their players to lead the pack into the changerooms at the end of the game (teams do this without some idiot asking them to you clown).

lol @ the "Get your Eagles raffle" man who asked us if he was at Prospect because he couldn't find an Eagles fan.
In all honestly supporters of both sides should be equally disheartened after today, one of the sides will win the Elim Final but that's as far as either side will go.
No use in rocking up for either really.
It'd be good if West could make it, they'd lose but it would add a degree of difference to the finals.
I'm sure North only did well in the 3rd quarter to spite us fans giving them bronx cheers when they actually found a person with a kick!
The Come on you Whites chant didn't have quite the same ring to it.

the sooner fuller, gets Macca back to centre half back the better, that way kenny can play forward permanantley. Anyone that wants to write us off, do so at your own peril, we will get back Broadbent, Hentschell, Shirley, if Burton has a bad day tomorrow he may even qualify for the finals, so look out, we have also beaten glenelg and centrals this year too

Mic at 3/4 time of the seconds I thought where are all the North fans .Funny when Jarman coached you guys there were droves of Red clad people. What's happened to the North faithful of the Jarman era?
500 that's not bad for us Eagles in the middle of winter most of the older fans (not me even if Holden thinks I'm a grandpa ;) ) have flown North for the winter. ;) Joking CD ;)
I said in another post in another topic about the guy on the PA and was assured the last 2 games he wouldn't play marching music and what did he play today .

Well, according to the Budget, 13 players were on the injury list (that have played League). Jacky did play today but Powell did not so it's still 13. On that list, Fairclough, Geddes and Fitzgerald played in the Reserves.

This is a list of players that could play for us later in the season but did not today (either through qualification for the finals regarding AFL players or currently injured)

McEntee
Lane
Passador
P.Fiacchi
Fitzgerald
Fairclough
Geddes
Treeby
R.Fiacchi
Giuffreda
Davoren
Powell
P.Stewart
Broadbent
Shirley
J.Redden

All have played League for us, and this is also players who played in the Reserves today that have also played League:
Banner
Hill
Cullen
Rowntree
Staple
Papps
Hicks
Smith

And then you have Hentschel who will probably play for us next week - thus qualifying him for the finals, and Burton needs to play another match to do the same.

By the way, Hentschel was the 46th player to play League for us this week, the same number of players used in 2006.

Great Day at Oval Ave today - game never in doubt ;)

First a gutsy win by the league - yes third quarter tough and disappointing but with North only being five goals down or so at half time you knew they would be super determined in the third and throw everything they could at us. We toughed it out and were able to run over the top to record a good win especially with the bye next week.

Then a great roll up for presentations after the game .
Then a great role up for the Sportsman night and Auction tonight.
Wayne Phillips. Damien Fleming fantastic and Warwick Capper was Warwick Capper!
A great night with fantastic bargains in the auctions

So a great day for the WWTFC and thanks o all who supported us today at the game and tonight at our function.
(Tonight we had Australian Test stars in Rex Sellers, Wayne Phillips, Damien Fleming, Shaun Tait in attendance - a great night)

the inclusion of Hentchell was the catalyst for me.....

he strenghthend the backline and gave Ron the option of switching him or McGregor forward.....

Salter was outstanding for 2 quarters then seemed to lose the plot with discipline....

James Allen will get a few weeks holiday for what he did....the umpire clearly saw the punch to the face.....

I thought Rimmington played his best game for us .....

Luke Jarrad and Jarrad Allmond (forrest gump) were everwhere....

good win by the boys....

holden the hasbeen termite go and barrack for someone else.......you are no Eagles supporter!

CCL I got the feeling that with Trent back there to help Kenny and Zac suddenly the guys around them found that they could RUN!!
Rimmington has started to play like he was in the seconds or was it due to his parents being at the game ! For me I have enjoyed watching him grow from what he was when he arrived to his current form.
Suddenly the Eagles have Jarrad's everyhwere ;)

A shame the umpires didn't see the punches to the face that McIntyre or Davis received.
