The CLUB has to sit down and do a MAJOR self analysis. I believe that Clay has to stay, create stability rather than another change!
How can you not blame the coach??? ....he has to be accountable.
A MAJOR self analysis was done with the so called "Morris report"![]()
Port were undermaned today and it was the perfect chance to capitalise on that.....we did not.
Yes, Cahill won at Alberton last year
A 59 point loss to the 2nd bottom side is just not acceptable IMO

As soon as our side puts in a poor effort like today out they come again calling for Clay to be sacked or resign. The same people are the ones who keep saying the club needs stability - WTF?? Do you think the SAFC should go for a quick fix again???
The above mentioned people should take the time to speak to those on the board & discuss the plan the club has in place - you will find the are very open to suggestions & feedback.
As for those who don't realise, the Cahill chapter has closed, discussion & comparisons are pointless.

Clay Sampson should and will quite rightly remain as coach (that a fact shoey not your tripe which you present as fact, opinion yes, fact no). The constant harping about Cahill whose own petulence bought about his own demise which has been covered to death on this site clearly had a better more experienced squad than Clay to work with (some have short memories). This young team has been playing without luck and carrying injuries over the past month and have been extremly competitive. Port will finish higher than 8th and have been playing very well over the last month. Gotta love the supporters who sink the boots in about the clubs instabilty, then call for more of the same, wake up!

Everyone keeps talking the youth factor but as someone else has suggested the clubs age list is no different to any other clubs and the under 18s are well down the ladder with no players making the State Side.
And Shoe Boy you are not the only one who is complaining about South and ther Local Clubs not having a good relationship.
The Club needs someone outside to control Football Operations and revamp everything from the bottom up.
Blaming Clay Sampson is not fair - there is more to it than the performance of the Senior Side but no one at South knows it.
