IIRC they lost two in a row last year (Glenelg and the Eagles) in June and we all know how last year turned out.

You blokes can write them off, I wont be...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Neither will I. They're a different team come finals time - god, didn't Buckets McKenzie win a Jack Oatey medal??? ;)

No chance of that, I fear North will come up against a very angry and refreshed Centrals outfit in 2 weeks time.

Just for the record (and because I like implosion threads) the doggies have imploded to 2 losses in a row on 7 occassions over the past 10 years.

They are: May 2000, July 2000, June/July 2001, April 2004, April 2006 (3 in a row), July 2006 and June 2008.

It seems that we are subject to the odd implosion between May and July and usually get our act together by Septamber. I hope history repeats. 8)

Crikey! If two losses in a row are an implosion, what do we call Port's season!

Slade and Thomas replaced as captains by Duncan and Dunne with a eye to the future i would bring in Brading, Nason, Porter, Matson for O'Sullivan, Callinan, McKenzie and Schell.

thats abit rough.. all the sucess they have done for themselves and there fans and you just want to get rid of them like that.. Duncan and Dunne captain?? its there first season of league football.. i admit they are quaility and ive played with them before.. O'Sullivan and Callinan still playing good footy..
