Westies zone is quite small though?

Like a couple of people have said - Sturt have the fastest growing zone in the State (Mt barker) alongside South who have (Seaford through to Aldinga growing at an incredible rate of knots).

It is about the number of kids in your area and like the AFL Draft which evens up the competition, so does the re-zoning.

You can't have your cake and eat it too. I'm sure that this doesn't help the Sturt diehards in the Blackwood area, but gee what about all the kids coming out of Mt Barker - I am sure that they will more than compensate the loss of Blackwood over the next few years.

Will the general public be able to see exactly where the zones are? i.e. down to the street and not just that coloured map which just gives a rough idea.

We do have more than two supporters you know.

How's paying back the $2.2 million bank loan for your clubrooms coming along by the way? If whispers are true not so good, a fact that even your President has had to publicly deny. Worrying signs I would have thought.

If you call having never missed a payment, the fact our assets are twice our liabilities and the 1st quarter of the football finacial year has seen income come in ahead of schedule I would say the repayments aren't going too badly. You're more than welcome to come down and have a drink with me and contribute to the re-payments if you want....

Back ont track, does anyone have a document that shows the new boundaries for each club or know where on is located for easy e-access???

There's always going to be issues with the Western suburbs being a relatively small area which is saturated with too many SANFL clubs.
I have 2 solutions:
1) Merge Glenelg and South, base them at Noarlunga and give West Glenelg's old suburban area and use the Glenelg Oval facilities as a permanent disco that serves Coopers.
2) Start building land off the west coast of Adelaide similar to Dubai

Option 1 is more viable so go with that as its an easier fix.
It aint rocket science.

Here is my solution:

1.Glenelg merge with South, play at Noarlunga wear Blue and White and call themselves the South Adelaide Panthers.

2. West merge with WWT and play at Woodville. There has been too many sides in the western suburbs since woodville was introduced into the competition in 1964.

3. North merge with Norwood play somewhere and wear whatever jumper.

Result=
6 team competition that would be very competitive and very solid financially.

Does this new team's supporters get to drink Coopers at home games? If so, I may be in! ;)

OK if we're going down the merger road for discussion then surely the teams with the higher the amount of Premierships wins keep their identity...after all Premierships are what football is all about!
If Glenelg merge with South...South 11 v Glenelg 4
If West were to merge with another club then make it be with Sturt, so we can get our recruiting areas back...Sturt 13 v West 8
If North merge with Norwood...Norwood 27 v North 13

Makes sense to me :-o :-?
Failure is only the opportunity to begin again more intelligently.

Even better just merge clubs with the least amount of premierships with anyone that's in double figure obviously excluded.
Either that or last in first to go, or those in the most congested areas.
It all makes sense, we all know it.
It ain't rocket science, that's for sure! ;)
