Glenelg, North, Eagles, West, Port, South, Norwood and Sturt to all merge and play Central in a best of 5 series. At least that way Central may have some real competition. ;)

Well I've always said if Sturt and West joined up you could borrow a WAFL nickname and call them the Royals based on what you've said.

Why cant we just kick out Port? ;)
It's all the SANFL's fault.

I voted West and South to become the South West Adelaide Panthers or South West Bloods.

Sturt to merge? Third most successful side in SANFL history, with Port hold all the crowd records, ('76 at FP, '65 @ AO). Lose a power club like the Blues and you make as well can the comp.

If anything the SANFL needs another side to get back to 10 teams.

Stop f*cking with the SANFL.

Sturt have won the same amount of senior premierships as North (13) in a shorter space of time. That would make us more successful wouldn't it? Or just 'successful more often' if you want to be picky.

Geez don't get off topic and onto that old arguement otherwise you will upset the Glenelg supporters who think that the Bays hold the title as the third most successful club! ;)

The Bays don't hold that title. However, unlike the Roosters, the Bays are deserving members of the "big four".

Or just "Westport" - part of my proposal for throwing Port Adelaide out of the SANFL when they tried to join the VFL in the first place.

get sturt and south together, home at noarlunga. the colours are close enough not to confuse their supporters and we dont have to go to unley oval any more.

your first post and it is ridiclous Eagles Talon. Merge Glenelg and South together, base them at Noarlunga and call them the Southern Adelaide Tigers. Use Glenelg oval as a base for their juniors to play on.

See Page 1 for my response to that....

I'd think the vast majority of South players would prefer to based at the Bay, much closer to home....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

West and Glenelg.
Richmond, sash, black, Neil Kerley, same side of town, almost no success.
So many similarities.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail
