Exactly. IF Glenelg turns up with the right attitude then it will win. But if the Blues are shown no respect by Glenelg, then the Bays' return to finals action will be brief.

IMO, the past 8 weeks have been about the right attitude, and the results have gone their way...Switched on Glenelg = Top three material...

It certainly would be karma if the Bays knock out Sturt after the crap Sturt1's been throwing the Bays supporter's way all year!

Great to see the Tigers back playing finals footy.
Hopefully it's just for the 1 week but regardless of what happens next week I think both sets of supporters would be reasonably happy they made it this far given pre-season predictions for sturt and glenelgs awful start to the year.

Honestly, I am over this "geez look what we did this year compared to pre-season expectations" ...

Sturt have been a regular finalist in the 21st century this is not some out-of-the-box year where finishing 5th is a great achievement

Last year was the exception for Sturt, not 2007

My expectations as a sturt supporter were different to opposing fans pre season predictions Hondo,,,, there is a difference.

I agree,if Glenelg DIDN'T make the finals this year it would've been "a wasted year, what has Mickan done etc etc etc", and after the Norwood game it was looking that way, I'm just thankful the Bays started playing footy in the way most of the Glenelg followers were expecting at the start of the year...We can now build on something that cough..cough..Sturt have had the past few years (barring last year of course  ).

That wasn't meant to target you personally as much as it looked - more of a general comment because it's been a common theme all year as tho Sturt have been in the cellar for 20 years and now all of a sudden in a new era, etc, etc, etc

The Bays for mine and to go even further !
Look out Roosters !

to be fair i don't think thats quite right i think the bottom line is sturts lack of depth because of the injuries they are suffering from at the moment.......bays by plenty

I've been to one game this year and we looked like world beaters that day.. things change in a few weeks far too quickly. Not confident at all about this one.

Just end the misery next week, it's been a crap year for footy.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Does in the cellar for 20 years include 2002?
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

Exactly my point - they haven't been in there recently

2007 is not an exception or a new era this is a big con :D - Sturt have been successful for a while now

last season we finished 8th. So far this year it has been a big improvement. We had a major clean out at the end of last season. So in some ways this is a new era for us. Whats the big deal?

Biggest Improver this year - Sturt by a country mile, Id be bleating about this year as well if i was them.

If it had of gone the other way , finishing 8th -9th , they could have gone back to the wooden spoon era for the next 5 years.

So this was an important year in terms of the future for the club.
If at first you don't succeed , then destroy all evidence that you tried in the first place

Obviously after meeting 2 weeks ago both sides will know each other a bit better and a both sides will do some things different.

One of the biggest changes for us is that we will have to take a couple more bigger lads in to the game as the bays killed us in the air all day - we must be competitive in the air.

Herring played last time but im not sure if he will be alright - I think he is very important to our forward structure. Yes I know Chambo has kicked over a 100 but it has been through some very good work from the boys gettin it to him as well and our selfless CHF.

Come on you Blue Boys lets fire up !!!
It is what it is !!!
