Well, it got even worse in the Advertiser today :!:

Sunday Mail
 Article predominantly about Chambers with little reference to Glenelg
Advertiser
 Large article about Chambers (fair enough)
 Article talking about the injury lists for both teams

The only Glenelg players mentioned on either day were
 Rudolph - for supposedly giving the free kick away to give Chambers his 100th
 Mitchell - for getting injured in his comeback game in the Reserves
How can that be a fair coverage :?:

Add to that the factual inaccuracies
 Saying it was Mitchell's first Reserves game for 3 years, and then saying he played his last Reserves game in 2005. How was that 3 years ago? (he didn't play any Reserves that year)
 Saying our Reserves are on a 10 game winning streak when they have only won 9 in a row.

i'm a big crows supporter, and im a big bays supporter. on a sunday/monday morning the first place i look is the write up of the glenelg match (regardless if we win). they said last night the crows will be playing on saturday afternoon at the same time as the bays, i know i'll be at oval avenue "yelling for the bays" :D

The thing that frustrates me with the papers is the amount of space the AFL stats get. Basically it’s a 1/3 of a page for each game which equates to about 3 pages on a Monday. Overkill imo. Fair enough, put them in for the crows and port games, but for the other 6 games, if you really want to see the stats and you’re a supporter on a non-sa club (like myself) there are plently of ways to access this info. Or do a condensed version like the sanfl stats.

Ecky let them focus on other clubs and players, we'll just keeping on doing our thing nice and quietly....

Just like our players on Saturday, happy with the win but no histronics or over the top celebrations....just down and focussed on next week....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

That's fine for us Tassie, but what about all our bandwaggoners who have never heard of most of our players? We want to get them all joining us on that wagon!
