So many of you wanting to cover your eyes and ears, screaming, "NO, NO, NO" will not make it go away.

The only debate by the SANFL Directors isn't if it happens, it is what model it will be.

Anyone caring to accept that reality is welcome to post their views on the advantages on the Crows model being implemented.

Oh, dear. It must be hard with two chips on your shoulder. You want people to use rationalism regarding Port Adelaide and then promulgate this perception, "because the Crows always get what they want."

And how do you know what SANFL directors are thinking, debating, deciding?

You're a goose.

Ahh, personal abuse as the crux of the argument.

All statements from the SANFL are based around what model, not if.

And there's no chip, I ignore the Crows more than most. It's simply reality. Tell me the last thing the AFC asked for and didn't get?

How is this going to help the AFL players develop into a game pattern etc. to satisfy the Senior AFL coach. It is almost laughable that either the Crows or Power can consider this is good for any players development (including those players in the top up pool) under those circumstances?

You dont see how having all players contracted to Adelaide/Port playing together in the same teams is beneficial? Why do we bother having SANFL reserves then?

Take Port AFL this year - what Reserves grade did Wines and Neade play in that got them an AFL game? They haven't so how can anyone argue the proposed AFL Reserves Teams is going to improve development?

Thats a pretty odd view of the situation. Surely having the opportunity to play Nathan Blee as a key defender, as the club wishes, and as the club drafted him for, and not as a bloody tall wingman will be beneficial to both player and club.

We pay these players and currently have no say on their match day development.

All it is going to do is guarentee the spuds like Danny Butcher a SANFL League Game when he is clearly not good enough to get one under the current system. The only reason he is playing league at the Magpies is the PAFC can't lose face after moving him from North's reserves for development which would be admitting we were right if he was dropped. He is getting a game under false pretences to try and justify Port's grand plan!

What a load of rubbish. Hes had a decent enough year, has played decent football as a stopping defender and has been deserving of his spot in the team.

It is Healy who keeps going on about where Blee should play - no doubt Rhode, Richardson and Hinkley who are loading the gun though. None of them seen most of his 2012 season at North where he played as a key defender and was badly exposed. This season he has been playing a mix of up the ground on the wing and also off the half back flank and he has performed much better but clearly that has been missed at the PAFC?. I think Josh Francou has got it right!

If you and others at the PAFC think Blee is going to step up as a key defender in the AFL (I classify key defender as either FB or CHB) with his height and size then the Power are in real trouble but what would we know given you think D. Butcher is SANFL League standard!

That alone tells me all I need to know about your football knowledge!

I was talking about the SANFL? This is an SANFL forum after all.

SMA Is a JV between the SANFL and SACA. Moving from Football Park is an AFL decision to which the AFC eventually stated makes financial sense.

And they didn't get Kurt Tippett, Kurt Tippett got them.

I wouldn't be so smug about 2014 just yet.

I think the SANFL Directors are just starting to realise the backlash from their members if they rubber stamp any version of these vulgar proposals.

The Eagles have received enough letters from fans (cue jokes about the size of our fan base) to acknowledge the simmering discontent and asked the members to complete a short survey about our opposition or support for the changes.

I like the bit how if the AFL reserves sides play in the SANFL, it will because the Crows wanted it. Not because both the Crows and Port wanted it.
