Also a wingman on baller that doesn't get the ball, kick goals, or kick 40 metres (Obrien) wouldn't make a premiership side (in my view).

Agree but the last couple of years we have even got recruits that havent made it to round 1.

Other teams like Sturt, West and Eagles are continuing to recruit well so there is something we are doing wrong.

The biggest criticism of us onfield i can make is that our problem areas 3 years ago are still our problem areas
-Lack of competitive ruckmen
-undersized defence
-never any more than key forward
-lack of blokes with genuine footskills

We have become a club of excuse makers.

Soders just said Porplyzia looks after Westies Youth development, good for the kids there. But he also works in strength and conditioning for Adelaide. So, he helps develop players he plays against? Really?

Done a great job with juniors right down to 12 year olds. Lose a few in draft this year I think

Another quality character by the sounds of it.

It amazes me how far away we have gone from the things the club use to believe in once we got desperate.

That alright, Kris Grant used to buy Grenville drinks before North v Dogs games thus building his strength and conditioning. :)

Free up a fair bit of salary cap, pity we have to wait next year. I think he thought the sanfl was going to be easier than it proved to be.

I'd dispute who the arrogant knob is...

Gillbee very inconsistent and never really played 4 full quarters...

Disappointing if he has walked, if in fact that is true...

I have just heard that Gilbee will be back. The club gave him a week off because he has some other stuff happening.

Apparently wasn't at the game today so I think people are putting the two coincidences together

I'll be slightly disappointed if he did leave, like u said he is inconsistent but his one of the very very very few players that we had who could become a match winner by breaking a game apart for us.
