Great experience for some of our younger blokes like Kirk, Bonney, Caire, Beech etc. I think the players will want to play as it might be their only chance to play on the MCG.

sorry, but whoopee.

Thanks for you input ;)

Would imagine if you ask any footballer what ground they would most like to play on it would be the MCG

yes, regularly, not in a one-off match in a pointless, almost embarrassing, non-attended, reserves standard match. Anyway, enough said. The game's over, lock the bloody thread! Even the mods aren't interested!

Ask me what ground I would like most to commentate from & it would certainly be the MCG.

Had some great experiences volunteering in Media Services in Melbourne at the 2006 Comm Games but that is one I haven't ticked off the list yet .. maybe at the state game next year calling a SANFL victory.

If my club can win $100,000 and not effect their premiership chances I am all for it. Every club would love an extra $100,000. All expenses are paid for including accommodation, flights, shorts, sock etc and even some new footballs

If Werribee are this far up at 1/4 time against Queanbeyan..... what are Claremont going to do to southport?????

Maybe the Cup needs to revert to SA, WA & VFL only

Debatable considering a Qld side beat Port.

Interestingly last weekend both Werribee & Queanbeyan had the bye and are playing state league games next Sunday.

Once again Barry Hall you have paid no respect to Claremont just as you did last year.
Saying Werribee are favourites for the cup shows how little you know about any side outside of the VFL.
Claremont have made both Foxtel Cup Grand Finals and current winner as well as Back to Back WAFL premiers and currently undefeated. Shame on you Barry Shame!!!!
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Calm down gringo. Bazza just hasn't seen that much of Claremont and I'd reckon he'd hardly be a stickler for homework. He'll clue in.

No invite him so FE can educate him on the History of the Claremont Football Club ;)

I would hazard a guess they don't even start researching the teams until the Monday before the game......

Baz is going off that statement after he saw one game, when Werribee touched up Port Melbourne in the opening game of the year.

Since then... Werribee's form has been all over the place, while The Borough have got their act together in the last month, including wins over two previously unbeaten sides (N Blues and Casey) and now sit top of the table.

*On a side note, the VFL's old rivals meet in a top of the table clash this Sunday!
Williamstown (2nd) host Port Melbourne (1st) - VFL Radio is doing the game, so if you go to the VFL website you'll find the link for the radio call.
