2013 Finals at suburban venues

Reward the teams that finish higher by giving them home finals as per AFL, NRL, Cricket and A League. Save neutral for the GF at Football Park.

And it would fix the 'issue' that there are no rewards for finishing 2nd over 3rd, or 4th over 5th

Or create a tanking issue if say 3rd "experimented" to finish 4th for a home final and miss an away trip to ground they rarely win at .. Gotta love a good conspiracy

They won't be played on the same day as per the fixture on the SANFL website

Just have the double header like they do now at a neutral suburban ground, solves all the issues.

That just creates more issues and gets away from the SANFL plan to reward the higher ranked finalists with home ground advantage. If the ABC choose to only televise one final during the first two weekends then that should be the one with the highest ranked team playing.

Example is your club finishes 2nd and in week one plays 3rd so at your home ground also on TV. Teams 4 and 5 play at team 4 home ground not on TV. This only means two games in weeks 1 and 2 are not televised out of the 6 finals in total so whilst not perfect is still better than playing at a neutral venue.
