Update on Lights at Gliderol Stadium

A directions hearing was held this morning in the ERD Court to determine the conditions that the Court will impose upon the planning approval it will issue for the installation of four new light towers at Gliderol Stadium. Judgment is expected to be delivered shortly, which the Club hopes will allow for confirmation in the 2012 SANFL draw (due to be released in the coming days) for night football to be played at Gliderol Stadium next year.

Why will painting them grey make them blend in more with the local scenery?

Also a 9.50pm finish means a 7.10pm start at the latest.

Another example of Chandler feathering his own nest.

Disgusting.

Don't think it will happen - what about ABC's broadcast of the game to consider?

5 is plenty. Wouldn't want to see more night games than afternoon games.

There are 2 TV audiences to meet SA & WA ... so maybe twighlight game to give lights a run.

Say - 4.10pm SA start (2.40pm WA) with 6.40pm finish, telecast finishing by 7pm for the news (5.30pm WA).

Just in time for dinner at Bays Bistro or Jetty road.

Council approved it, yet Mikki Bouchee who's a councillor is one of the "concerned residents"

Wish I lived in her electorate so I could vote her off....

She voted against it basically, because ken Rowland(the mayor) was all for it. I have dealt with this oxygen thief, she is just lapping up her 15 minutes of fame and then hopefully will crawl back under the rock from whence she came
