One would think that being as successful as we have over the last decade that the SANFL and their auditors would be looking at our salary payments more closely than some of the other clubs. When finally this magnificent era end for our club,do I take it that we suddenly cut all our player payments.

I actually rate Jenner. He always worried me when we played Port, so hopefully he can get back to that sort of form with us.

I'm also aware of 3 ex Magpie yongsters who were told they were not required there that are training with Centrals. At least one has been told he is likely to play league footy this year, but he hasn't sat down with Kris Grant and formalised anything yet, although Granty wants to see him next week.

They get under the radar these doggy mongrels !!!

Care to share any names with us Madrooster ???

IS one of them Ben Nason ???

That's what I meant, Nason not Matson, I was getting confused with a fringe reserves ruckman named Seb Matson...

rumour has it, he has been on the Mark Cosgrove diet and struggling to run more than 100 metres, let alone swing his leg with any fury.
B grade or even C grade for that bloke, he might play the fat bloke who sits in the center of the park and doesn't move all day.

RUMOUR,

Elijah Ware may line up for Eastern Park in the Div 2 ammos this season. Apparently Elijah and Adrian Wilson (who has signed for EP) are starting to spend more time together again and Adrian is trying his hardest to convince him to go out there.

I don't think Noodles will line up with Eastern Park WHUFC, despite his friendship with Whoopie...

Noodles retired from league football because he lives at Flagstaff Hill and with a young family on the way, was finding the long distances to travel for training were becoming a bit frustrating.

I was talking to an old softball mate of mine at a 36'ers game the other night (who is from Port Pirie and is good friends with Noodles) and he was saying that despite being offered $900 a game to play at Encounter Bay this year Noodles will just train with a local club and is actually going to play with his original club back in Pirie. He will only have to travel up there on weekends for the games.

He was worried about the travel 3 nights a week from Flagstaff to Elizabeth and back again...

Wouldn't get home from training until 10pm I'd say and wouldn't be great for the relationship with a young family on the way...

Like I said, he will be able to train with a local club (as in a club in the Southern suburbs - will be home by 8pm) so it is only the weekend he would have to travel...

Would you drive to Pirie to have a kick and a catch for $900 a game ? I know I would if I was in his position...

And BTW, it's my aunties cousin's sister's brothers best friend's sister who is on the lighting's list and played baseball with her cousin ;)
