Is that a surprise about Wakelin? Didn't think he was that old, thought he was coming into the age that commentators say "is a good age for a ruckman?"

Christian Grocke looking forward to preseason - is running and should get most of the preseason under his belt.

Skippy's situation does depend on Essendon - may be staying in Victoria.

Not really, Wakes has been fantastic but he and Budgie have very similar games (ie tap ruckman with not many around the ground possessions, Budgie is a bit better at taking grabs around the ground). Ideally we'd have a ruckman like Parry to compliment Budgie, that would be an awesome set up.

Also wouldn't surprise me if at least one other North player that Jars doesn't rate and is on very low pay goes who may be a big loss depending on who we recruit.

Whispers have it that North may have signed someone to take over Banger's spot on the wing but that'll leave us with 3 wingmen again, probably a good thing if an injury occurs like it did to Ryswyk this year.

Thats good to read CD ,when he got injured in that first trial game it did appear he hampered the clubs plans for a forward ruckman.

A good get IMHO who is still young and a better KPP than Grocke.
Nice work Ron.

Wouldnt say that he is a great pick up good player but still someone who had played league footy to an SFL club you'd think would have a big impact but never really did to much only against the weaker sides wouldn't think he'd play league straight up although he may and CHF is his possy

I think he'll be a great pickup for the wiggles, can't believe Jars didn't give him a getter go in '06 when North's forward line was full of injuries.
A much better player than Groeke IMHO

Have heard from a mate mixed up with GeppsX that Hargraves is asking $750 plus $$ per goal per game but will end up in Hills league with other ex North players.

Ladhams was the one rumoured to go with Hargreaves going back a few months ago. That was when they were supposedly going to be playing in the Yorke Peninsula League in 08.

David Clarke signed for North. I'm stoked, one of my favourite players when he was at Geelong. :D

Clarkey should at least keep one of your sponsors busy North fans......reported 5 times in less than 2 seasons.

Would have to have the poorest disposal for any 100 game afl player I have ever seen. Having said that, he can find the footy though.
