Ian Callinan has torn the bicep muscle off the bone while playing for the Crows in Melbourne...

Will be out for 10-15 weeks according to Kym Dillon on AA, a real shame for Ian as he was impressing at the next level...

Obviously the Crows wont elevate him to the senior list now, looks like North's Matty Wright might though...

You would suspect Callinan would come back for a few games in the SANFL with the Dogs when coming back from injury...

Bad luck for Callinan, he seemed to be going well.

Not good news for anyone, really. 10 weeks, followed by regaining match form and fitness is a difficult and long time.

Yeah, will be great for Matty after what he went through a few years ago, although sad it was at the expense of Callinan's injury...

I met Matty's Dad a couple of years ago when he was selected for the SANFL State team that went to Perth and had a good chat to him one night at training about the great strength of character Matty showed to recover from the terrible incident.

Not good for him but good for Centrals. They seem to get these breaks fortuntaely for them.

I think someone said Brodie Martin did his knee again ? Bad luuck for him again and maybe Sturt as I dont think (??) he would have been a regular in the best 22 Crows.

I wouldn't think it's good for Central at all.

He may have only played a few games before going back to the Dogs before this, now they definitely don't have him for the first third of the season at best.

It's a serious injury.

Agreed.
Dont think he would have got more than a couple of games for the cows

The report says 12 weeks ? So he gets back in R 10 maybe , providing he recovers fully he will play the remainder of the season at Centrals , which is good for Centrals surely ? . I can't see the Crows elevating him just yet .

Former Westies ruckman (and I think Eagles) Judd Robson is having his 3rd crack at a league club, playing for Port Magpies in 2011.

No, ran water for the league and reserves...

Still looks like he is carrying a little bit too much weight for league footy?

Bad injury and really disappointing as I was looking forward to seeing his impact at a higher level.

Just shows that injuries can happen at any time during the season, be it training, trials, practice games, or dare I say it... Foxtel Cup games.

He was bottled at a party for his girlfriends birthday from memory. Spent some time in hospital with pretty serious head injuries...
