What a fall from grace. From the lofty heights of being reserves premiership captain, to running around at gepps x.

not yet, I have heard that he will probably line up in the A's this final trial match.
And if he goes for that reason only? BIG DEAL! We don't need sooky individuals. To quote the legendary & much revered Simon Luhrs.....he can F**K OFF.

UPDATE! My mole at Gepps cross has just confirmed that Wittwer is now signed & PLAYING for them. money changes everything.

even if he does not take the field, he will have been a better buy than Locky Carey. Hard to believe, but from what I saw on Saturday, he may have actully gone backwards ...

I think Daniel Redden played quite well. First game. Give him a chance.

Agree but in fairness to Josh he does have his first child on the way, who cant do with an $500 a week for six months of the year doing something you would be doing anyway.

Also im led to believe him and Lairdy dont have the greatest of relationships.

Will miss chatting to his old man while the ressies are playing though.

He never signed at Angaston, he spoke to them last year about playing they heard about him not being able to play under 18's and needing a back up club, angaston put in a clearance for him and that's why it was initially rejected. He has recently moved to Marion and never intended to play for Angaston

That's a real shame to hear. My three and a half year old saw Josh at west lakes mall a couple of weeks ago. Josh stopped and talked to him for about five minutes, my son was wrapped. Seems to be a real nice guy. Having eddy (his mentor) going to Qld probably didn't help.

Looks like Jacob Surjan might be pulling up stumps on the Maggies and his SANFL career, without playing a game in 2013...

From Localfootysa...

I would suspect his Special Comments role for FiveAAA might have something to do with the decision...

Magpies recruit Jacob Surjan is stepping away from playing footy in 2013, with a look to have hamstring/glute surgery and play in 2014...

Not a player but Jarrod Cotton is no longer the Norwood reserves coach due to employment pressures.
