I think we did get a bit of a better deal (but it did go each way). The same thing happened at Prospect, only North got the better hand. Feel free to shoot me down, but it's only my opinion, and my stats are better than my opinions. :D

Correct me if I'm incorrect about the prospect game Spellcheck. But wasn't that the game shown on Today Tonight and one of the umpires shares a house with a North player!!

Which is the way it should be, heated, but in good spirits. Otherwise we would end up like BigFooty.

The 50/50 frees went either way, but not all in one direction is what I mean. Either way as in not always to one side. I dunno, I told you my stats are better than my opinions! :P

All I can say, is I can't wait for the finals series. I think the dogs, north, eagles and Sturt are all capable of winning the flag this year. I think the a few North supporters should get behind their team rather than look for excuses. I didn't see the game so I can't really comment on that but I know after North lost to the Eagles in the Prelim last year, I heard every excuse under the sun. I just hope all sides go into the finals at full strength and may the best team win!!!!!!!!

When asked who I thought would play in the Grand Final I said Central vs the winner of todays game between the Eagles and North, yet three points is cutting that a little fine to call. However I think that we are likley to see a rematch of todays game in the finals, which if todays match is anything to go by should be an absolute ripper, maybe KG and Cornsey might like to call it and see a real game of Aussie Rules first hand for a change?

Hey look, I agree fully, I was actually more encouraged than discouraged by North's effort today, I actually think we're just as much chance if not more so than this time last week. After our losses against the Bays and Port I was scathing of the playing group but I thought they were fantastic today and don't hold one thing against them after today.
I think the Eagles wont be able to make the top 3 but could go all the way from the Elim but I dont think if North were in the Elim they could go all the way, not sure if that makes sense.
I had words with LEH about my opinion on Sturt as I think they're great being a big Rick MacGowan fan and there's no doubting the Dogs class, the only thing against the Dogs is their double bye going into the 2nd semi, if they win they they could go in the GF with 1 game in 4 weeks which is hardly an ideal lead up.
Its definately up for grabs with 4 very classy sides and with the Bays hitting form it could make for the best finals in memory unlike most recnet years where 1 or 2 sides weren't deemed as worthy.

My View on the game and the reasons why North didn't get over the line

3rd Quarter

1 minute mark North go missing

2 minute mark North Still Missing

3 Minute mark North Still Missing

7 Minute mark Announcement over PA System - If Anyone has seen Chris,Josh,Clint,Brett,Ian..... they are wearing red and white football tops , please come to the main grandstand, their parents and supporters are concerned as they have not been seen since half time

15 Minute Mark - Police Dog Squad arranged for the search of Woodville Oval , Parents are beside themselves.

3/4 time Kids are still missing but there is a rumour they have just been sighted on the oval and are tucking into some oranges
If at first you don't succeed , then destroy all evidence that you tried in the first place

Must be a good sign for North if they go missing for an entire game and still only lose by less than a goal though?

Certainly. I must say that I thought that this was a real danger game this week, considering that you guys beat Central convincingly last week.
