Congrats to Brad Symes and Joel Cross. Cross combined with Liddle have been great for South for the last couple of years and Symes' effort this year shows his true character - always doing his best regardless of the level he plays.

Bad luck to Boyd. Not sure what he did to get suspended but have thought with the things people get suspended for these days that perhaps the Magarey (and Brownlow) needs to get rid of the "fairest" aspect. Rowntree for instance, who finished highest for the Eagles was suspended for the softest of things.

The package the SANFL presents is very good but was let down by the technical things. Hardly being able to hear it and poor picture quality doesn't do the Magarey Medal justice. Surely not that hard to improve these things. I don't mind it only being online if they can fix this up.
