No.

Announced at the Eagles B&F Dinner that he is returning home to Victoria.

Bit disappointing this one. Sure, he was unlikely to ever be a top-line SANFL player. The last two years finals series though, did show he added a bit of attitude, fight and pace to our forward line, something which we've never really had enough of apart from when we recruited Matty Cooper.

Gee, sad to see Rimmington go. I won't have anyone to yell abuse at at Eagles games now.

This twit celebrated every goal like it was the after-the-siren Grand Final winner.

You're just not trying hard enough then.

Exactly, his value was in getting under the skin of the oppostion, and kicking a couple of goals, not getting 30 touches.

Does it matter, he won a flag. Kicking a goal in a league match is a big thing for some, I'm sure you would've celebrated if you kicked one Booney. Afterall, such celebrations can spark your team mates.

So, the SANFL mini draft after trade week will include:

Brent RENOUF (PA, RUCK)
Tom LYNCH (A, KPF/KPD)
Brad COUCH (A, MID) - Full Year SANFL
Josh JENKINS (A, RUCK)

Some decent players up for grabs, along with these players returning:

Brad EBERT (PA - Port Magpies)
Luke BROWN (A - Norwood)
Lewis Johnston (A - North Adelaide)

Clubs however, have lost:

Ivan MARIC (A - Port Magpies - Richmond)
Jack GUNSTON (A - Central District - Hawthorn)
Tony ARMSTRONG (A - North Adelaide - Sydney)

Steve MORRIS (West Adelaide - Richmond)
Terry MILERA (Port Magpies - St Kilda)

A fair bit of movement down to the SANFL compared to the last few years!!!

I would expect even before the draft that the first 2 selections will be Crouch (Sturt) then Jenkins (Westies)
July 11th 2012....

Ahh ok. Thought I might have been missing something.
A bit like my post disappeared. :?

We tanked against West twice so we could get that pick!
Also tanked 3 times against Sturt but still couldnt wrestle their pick away! ;)

Not sure of it's validity, but was told by someone a while back (maybe July) that Sturt were pushing hard for Setanta O'Hailpin who's just been de-listed by Carlton - I believe he's good mates with Joe Anderson.

Just a rumour to add to the mill.

Agree BC, certainly serviceable at that level. Would have thought some other clubs would be interested.

From the confirmed threads, probably not a huge surprise Dale Symons and Brad Geddes are going. Symonns deserves some credit for sticking at it for a few years rather than taking the money option, but in the end, not consistent enough. Geddes is unfortunate, just seem to string a few games together and then he'd get a serious injury, never quite got to see whether he could consistently make it.

Was told on Sunday by a person involved at Norwood that Brad Crouch will be playing for Norwood next year. Apparantly a loophole that because he isnt contracted to the Crows he doesnt have to enter SANFL mini draft. I thought this to be crap at the time but today ive heard it being mentioned several times. Wonder if there is any truth to it

Ben Nason and Mitch Farmer. Two more success stories for Richmond's recruiting staff. Plucked them from the SANFL reserves, got games in the Tigers best side and will probably go back to playing reserves again.

Farmer is not an SA lad originally so will probably stay in Melbourne and Nason will be in Central's League 21 next season if not re-drafted.
