I'm guessing "no" at this stage as one of the main concerns was centred around the inability to rest players during scheduled byes. The top 5 clubs, I would imagine, will be watching how West, Port & North fare later on in the year when the impact of having no byes comes into play. Having said that, only one of NA or PA will play any more than 2 Foxtel Cup games, and as neither are likely to play SANFL finals we wont have much to go on there. West, on the other hand, do look like playing SANFL finals at this point, and assuming they progress in the Foxtel Cup may be the case to evaluate on.
Certainly though, with the Foxtel Cup gaining more credibility from a longevity point of view, you would expect that the SANFL and it's clubs will look at it a bit more seriously.
