thinking about this whole situation i believe (rightly or wrongly) that mouses decision goes back to october when he alledgedly got the dcm then recalled when block & fisher departed, i believe this is where the crux of it comes from, he would've felt guttered, not wanted & betrayed, then a pay cut.....he gets an opportunity to earn (i don't believe he's playing for nothing) so he goes up there.....while i'm shattered i can understand his emotions & reasonings (presuming i'm right) in this whole sorry saga......i really do feel for him & on the other hand how will he feel when we go top & he isn't there or even worse in a losing grand final eagles outfit to glenelg

So you would have the whole squad up there and then bring them all back one week before the finals?

Well we have been crying out for a rover for about the last 5 years. Maybe the Mouse fits the bill. Would only be a 1-2 year proposition though at best.

Dont miss a chance do you re Jimmy Allan! Still you should get a real close look and lesson this season re outside receivers who do nothing with the ball now Centrals have recruited Boyd!

:D I should post my fishing tales on Mickys fishing thread. ;)

here is a 10 yo perspective & mouse is/was his favourite player

when i told him tonight when we had it completely official, he was shocked, also a little upset, he asked questions (i answered them honestly) he said ''i've lost my two favourite players mouse & macca, but we'll still see the tigers play dad & that's the most important thing''.....well i couldn't believe that while his favourite player was leaving & going to end up somewhere else he saw it more than most of us & that is the team will still be there & 21 blokes every week will represent the club & do their best to win
