Banford is a good guy and is important for the club.

I would love to see the club look at Lade, Bassett and Cripps.

amford will be a good choice but i would rather the Tylor before Bamford. I have heard he has applied for all three coaching jobs in the league.

No chip on my shoulder, it was just interesting that they are not playing now and I had no idea why.

Frost played 9 reserves game as an under 18 last year and wasn't playing at the moment, for all I know the club may have sent him back to amature football as the best way for him to develop. I am not a fan of him myself but he was being pushed up for state selcetion last year.

Moody, yes I am a huge fan but I dont know him personally. He has some issues with the contested ball but is a very good wing man. I had no idea if he was injured and I was surprised when I read in this thread that he was back playing amatures.

I have no idea if there are off field issues with these guys. I would be dissapointed if a talent like Moody was lost to Port Adelaide.

Frost was played in the same rotation week in week out in reserves, on the ball on the bench, i'd say he got sick of not being given an opportunity to develope & learn other positions like F\pocket B\pocket H\B H\F, he was obviously getting limited time each week on the ground to develope into a better player.
Moody has enormous talent i think & i heard he wasn't happy at not getting promoted to the League as his form was consistant in the Bs, sometimes you just have to be patient as a youngster & go through the tough stages before being rewarded.
Alot of youngsters today aint got the patience to toughen it out yet many think they have ability.

IIRC a young Micheal Wilson basically played 10 best on grounds in a row in the reserves before getting a senior call up. It did him no harm having to wait for a game.

Certainly was, he was a bloke that worked extremely hard on all aspects of his game, his fitness & toughness was first class & the best i've seen from any youngster that made it at Port.
Those young ones of today that think their hard done by should take a leaf out of Wilbur's book, he was one bloke that never complained about not getting a League game or when the going got tough, it made him more determined to succeed & the writings on the wall now as to what you can achieve through perserverence & hard work.

Hope whoever gets the job he can improve the Magies.
The competition needs a strong Port Adelaide playing finals against Norwood, Glenelg, Centrals and Sturt ect.
