It's every club's right to promote itself in any way it deems fit. If Central fans want to chant "U Dogs" and wave British flags then that's their prerogative.
How many older Central supporters remember 1971 when, due to the sudden surge of the Bulldogs, a number of English migrants were beginning to take interest in the game. Being used to a football code where scoring was at a premium, it was amusing watching some of them going off their nut if Central kicked the first goal
It was good for footy, but I wasn't too impressed by the Salisbury council naming streets after the Central players. A strange accolade for a team who finished third

No, you are right. I don't know why I bother discussing Central District at all. I really couldn't give a fruit tingle about them .. or their wanker supporters.
