Hardly any mention about playing for West Adelaide in this article, be interesting how this one plays out. Seems determined to get back into the AFL at all costs, be nice if mentioned he would like to see Westies successful.

I had the same thought reading the article this morning. Nothing about how he is enjoying his time at Westies, the blokes at the club or his early impressions.

As far as I'm aware, he left much earlier in the pre-season and was playing in the SFL from memory?

Perhaps South have talked him into sticking with the SANFL career?

Correct, he hasn't been training with Glenelg at all in this pre-season, but was originally going to play at PHOS

Good luck Daniel. He's a terrific young man whom I hold in the highest regard.
I hope he does really well.

A number of issues? Sounds quite insensitive. Still on gfc website as a player for 2012.

I'm not aware of any issues Daniel has, or the club has with him, and I know him very well
Although the GFC website is often slow on updates, I've just checked and he isn't up there anymore

Eagles sign 3 norwood players !!!

Postby Mickyj » Thu Apr 19, 2012 6:18 pm

The WWTFC can announce 3 new players for this weekend’s matches, all signed from the Norwood Football Club.

Nick Ramsey, 21, a midfielder who played 3 League games last season.

James Moss, 19, a tall midfielder.

Matt Press, 18, a medium sized running defender.

All 3 players will play in the Reserves Team in this week’s match versus North Adelaide. Please join the WWTFC in welcoming them into the Club.

The WWTFC can also confirm that Ruckman Peter Hoban will not play for the Club in season 2012.

Football Manager Trent Hentschel said “Unfortunately after completing the pre-season with the Club, Peter made the decision on the eve of the season to discontinue his career at the Eagles, making it a final decision for Season 2012 recently. The Club is obviously disappointed losing a player of Peter's stature and quality at this point, especially considering the Club's investment in Peter after his swap to Football from Basketball. However, we are understanding of his personal circumstances recently changing and wish him all the best for the future.”

Hoban type experiment ends in tears, one big time waste when a "football" ruckman could have been sourced ages ago and we wouldnt be rucking fullbacks in round 4, obvious really
