As you're a Glg supporter, I can understand that you're disappointed over missing out on a Finals campaign AGAIN

Isn't this the first year they've missed out on finals in quite a while?

Again Nwdfanparade, you are an embarrassment!

and he will be gone by tuesday next week until the legs make another granny

The fact you read that into it about Bassett says way more about you than him.

And if Collins cares for footy so much, as he's desperately trying to position himself this week, why does he send his teams out with such a defensive mindset? Surely if it's all about bums on seats he'd be playing to a freewheeling twenty goal a game plan?

I see this week's game as a contest between football good and evil and Bassett's the one sitting on the white horse.

Ha ha! Norwood's hardly an attacking advertisement for the game either. They just pull the defensive game plan off better then the others!

Interesting notes. Norwood normally beat West Adelaide in primarily finals. They have not beaten West Adelaide since 1922 for a premiership. West Adelaide have won their the last 2 grand finals they played again Norwood (1947, 1961). Come Sunday it will be Norwood's second game in 5 weeks due to poor Draw, Week off and winning the second semi.

I would like to know why the sanfl has slotted this game in for 320pm on a sunday afternoon. There has been no thought what so ever for country supporters.I can understand if it was the long weekend, but it is not.Saturday would of been the preferd day, some people, like myself, will not be able to go because of work comitments because of this stupid time slot.In the old days country supporters were welcomed, it dosnt seem so these days.

i agree.... and then there are the supporters that want to go back to their respective clubs after and celebrate or commiserate

who the hell is making these decisions

i know u have to take into account the prelim final 6 day break blah blah blah but the grand final is more important and should be the showcase of SANFL footy.
