Probably an invention by some Glenelg fans to try to divert attention from the fact they were so desperate for a decent second ruck they begged the SANFL to let them break the rules while the other team had a bloke who would have played for them had they not let him go themselves.

I bet every time he marked the ball cleanly in the wet or won the hit out there was a simultaneous cringe from the bays fans wondering how they could possibly have let him go. It's not so much that he's looking a genuine league ruckman, it's that he jumped straight into league footy form country footy half way through the year and immediately looked at home that I think should be the most embarrassing part for them.

No Centrals supporter has ever been wrong TS.

I may have missed it earlier. Why do many of the Bays fans dislike him so much? Is it because he left the club to get better money elsewhere (I believe the Bays didn't get rid of him, as such)? Did he play any/many league games at the Bay?

I think the footy Gods might be more interested in the fact that some of the Glenelg coaching staff have already pencilled in a win against Norwood and are already looking at playing Centrals in two weeks time. They don't rate Havelberg and say he'll never kick 4 goals again.

Sounds like the attitude everyone had last year and we all know what happened....

Who said Glenelg fans dont like him? He was very much liked and a very likable fella.

Could you question tigersupporter as vehemently about what he heard too please? Apparently 'he heard' = fact?

"well that was shite.... About 5 injuries....utterly abused by cretins and horribly, a bays fan had a heart attack in the car park...it didnt look good. Centrals were never going to lose 3 in a row...oh and sutherland is a wanker" LBT post
"We are very, very predictable. That's a fact.
Talent alone gets us over the line 90% of the time because of our strong list. Against all except.........guess who?
Getting very sick of it.
Absolutely gotta give everything this finals series and get the job done, or unfortunately questions are going to need to be asked.

And a big hello to Jason Sutherland. Hope you end up back on the streets, filthy pig. Lucky you don't live in China, they
shoot traitors over there." Bring Chiggy Back quote. Actually probably not as widespread as I thought.

I don't seem to be able to edit properly, when a lot of quotes are involved. Anyway i guess there was only a couple "bagging" him. Not as widespread as I thought. Did he play much league at the Bays?

No mention of "fact" in TS's posts.

Im more interested at the allegations against our coaching staff than a supporter...

I work with a few ex Glenelg players including one on the coaching staff. This is the conversation they were having yesterday, so yes it is a 'fact'.

I think the individual that makes the statement knows if it's true or not. Those that know the individual would also believe it to be true. Regardless, it's interesting but will have no effect on this weeks game.'

Geez. Couldn't imaging any Norwood blokes talking up their chances this week either.

Who gives a fat rats clacker. I'd be pretty pissed off if the Glenelg blokes weren't talking up their chances.
