I know the boys quite well and they will definitely be out at pre season and will see how they go before making a decision. They have been offered $1500 a game to play up at Torrens Valley but have turned it down. If they don't play for Central then i believe they will give footy up all together.

Their pre season will involve a lot of golf.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

Yeah, Chris was telling me at the 2000 Premiership Reunion Dinner that he and James had recently singed up as members at the Tea Tree Gully Golf Club and were looking forward to working on their handicap.

Does the "high ranking official" you know at Sturt know that the first thing you do with the information you're fed about our club is to run to the internet and post it?
It's all the SANFL's fault.

I'm interested in who this "high ranking official" is because I sit back and watch so called 'facts' about the club get posted. Some are way way off beam as to be completely invented and some have a real 'purple monkey dishwasher' vibe to them, I reckon I could say how many degrees of separation someone has by the 'facts' they post.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

chambo is only doing some work in nsw while he is with his girlfriend. he will be deciding on his footy future while he is working. this is direct from the great man himself as i saw him at the airport a couple of weeks ago when he was flying out.

Scott Welsh has confirmed his retirement from the Eagles.
Reasonable effort this year IMO, with his value being more than just possessions and goals.
For this reason, a little disappointed he isn't going on next year, as without Hentschel or Salter, he would have been useful with Day still developing. It wll give Heinjus and Redden an more opportunity though.

His value would want to be more than just possessions and goals considering what he cost you. $25,000 transfer fee for one season looks a little extravagant now.

Wouldn't disagree nickname, I was hoping for a couple years as my above post intimated, and I reckon the club would having been hoping so too.
