I couldn't listen to the interviews, but Mark McKenzie is usually pretty good and Chad O'Sullivan was entertaining. Get him to read out the teams the way he read the Centrals team and we'd all be happy.

It was nice being able to relax for the game discussions and John Nankivell and Jim Hough kept their focus on the footy, so a much better show all round.

Still one small quibble about the guest selection each week. I think I could picture the discussion about who should be on this week: -

"Well, we've had more Centrals guests than any other club this year and last week we had the Eagles coach, so who should we have this week?"

Ï know, how about a Centrals player and the Eagles captain"

"That's it, brilliant" :D

Even so, a much better show, thanks.

Just for something different tonight, Rob Green and Jim Hough will be talking to some from the Dogs and Glenelg

With only 2 games this weekend and next, it would seem perfectly set up for someone from each of the four teams playing to be a guest on the show. The Eagles have the bye so they could have a guest in the studio to "co-host" the hour this week and/or next.

You were serious, Phil

Honestly, I can't believe that Roy Laird is on tonight. Nothing against Roy, but the Centrals bias has become totally embarrassing.

There are 9 teams. Why is one of them on every second week and others rarely feature.

I can guess why Kym Russell is on tonight as it will be well worth listening to from a news point of view.

I'll be listening again, but my patience is running thin. I'd be just as well off reading the CDFC forum as listening to Radio 5RPCentrals.

Serious questions, Phil.

Who does choose the guests?

Is any thought given to balancing them between the 9 teams?

If it's too difficult to get guests from some clubs, what attempts are made to remedy this?

Do you think listeners who support teams other than Central should just be grateful for slim pickings?

It couild be a good show. It's proved it at times in the past, but the standard seems to be slipping, which is a real pity, as we all value the station's efforts to cover our game. That's why it's silly to risk the listeners'goodwill over such an easily regulated matter.

Have you ever thought some clubs players and coaches have made themselves 'more' available than other coaches.

Who else on the show would have Central bias, and no offence to big phil but i doubt he has enough pull on the radio station to be choosing the weekly guests.
