If you heard last weeks, you'd expect little. They're not talking until they have something to talk about.

 Yes love the analogy's coming out. Perhaps a separate thread can be started. Top of the list so far is Port Adelaide Football Club = Australian Labour Party - and that by a Port Adelaide supporter.

Here's the gist of the article, and some of my favorite sentiments from it:

"The SANFL has been interfered with enough by the AFL in the way they've treated us," Tripodi told The Advertiser.

"Now, out of nowhere, they want to put a reserves team in our league.

"Hello, we are playing for premierships and grand finals.

"Why would we want an interruption to that? We're sick of it."

The Eagles Chairman should step up and back Tripodi to the MAX.

I can see another Peel Thunder situation happening, the Crows reserves will get in by one vote.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Who cares! And just to annoy them make them play in the power jumper and mothball the prison bar jumper after all the Magpie Reserves, 18's, 16's and zones will be gone may as well bury everything B&W! :D

Wouldn't think you would get many Crows supporters even if they ended playing in the League Comp. The figures proposed by Chapman are made up and fantasy.

O
Correct. Unless something changes the eagles are more than likely going to vote for a crow's team in the league. An absolute pathetic and weak stance by the club.

Tripodi is talking the same kind of insular rubbish that the SANFL clubs were talking in 1990.

Firstly you could hardly say the AFL Reserves questions has, 'Come out of nowhere '. It has been about the place for at least 12 months and if Mr Tripodi had cared to look West he would have seen the writing on the wall well before that. Secondly how has the AFL, 'interfered' with the SANFL? Would that be the money put into an ailing SANFL competition by the AFL clubs over the past 20 years ? Is the Norwood Football club going to stop taking that money?

Dude, we just don't want AFL reserves in our comp. You can't just stamp your feet and cry each time things don't go your way.
It's our comp. Don't like it? Piss off!

He's been stamping, crying, making up garbage for years.

Even port fans have disowned him. Just let Schultzy be, he is harmless.
