At South, he played across half back with some time at on the ball (reserves). If he [played league (I don't recall) he would have had only a handful of games. Tim would be taller than James by about 8-10cm.

Tim had at least three knee reco's so his chances to play (let alone impress) were limited to say the least. Tim was a committed club man, would do the running for the reserves whilst recovering from the reco's, attended all trainings, generally a positive influence. I believe there is room for sentiment in football and would have kept him on.

Good luck to him, hope he keeps sound.

Heard Tarak Redigolo was cut from South last week, not happy if true, a handy local player who is probably a fringe but can fill a spot when injury's happen better than most...

Was he cut or did he leave? Was a strong rumor late last season to be leaving with James Turner. Then Tarak won the 2's medal.....

Is good mates with Ben Nason, I think, so I would assume that has something to do with getting him over from the Roosters.

Will be good to have another runnning defender with the surname of Hay in the red, white and blue. Tyson Hay was a great player for the Dogs through the early-mid 2000's.

yeah good mates with Ben and brad hood and a couple of other guys who are out at centrals this pre season.
He had a few hamstring injuries last year but was one of the fittest players at port last year and took it up to Kane Cornes in all distance runs.
