I'm pretty sure Wozniak ended up at West Adelaide, AND North.

I hate it when the media gets it so blatantly wrong.

I think the most notable Norwod/Sturt were Bruce Winter to Norwood and Neil Craig to Sturt.
I remember I was in hospital with a cartilage op and saw Craigy in a Sturt jumper for the first time on TV. The nurse had to clean up the vomit beside my bed !

Mike Nunan played for Norwood/Sturt/North, didn't he?

Yep. Started at Sturt, went to Norwood and then onto North. Even played a game for Richmond in 1971 and kicked 3 goals.

Stephen Kerley and Mick Nunan heading to Prospect from Norwood was one of the main reasons I changed to the Roosters, were my 2 favourite players at the Legs.

Did Nunan actuall play or just coach ?
Oscar was back at the Parade a year later and is still there now !
Yes Wedgie, loved the way Kerley played footy and was a big contributor to our 1975 flag. Remember the day at the Parade when Neil Balme " accidentally " fell on Kerley in a Roosters jumper.... twice !!!

Chad O'Sullivan

Pretty certain that Rick Macgowan started at North in the Under 17`s where "The King" played before heading to the Kangas.

Also played a couple of reserves games when coaching back at North Adelaide after his Centrals days....

I'm pretty sure Rick actually played 1 League game for North before heading over to Central. Then played Ressies when coaching, as o'five mentioned and finished his League playing career with North as well.

Rick played more than one game at North. He played the full season in 2004 before commencing reserves coaching. He was still a very handy player. I digress, but why did Nunan let him go in about 1988 after they had fought so hard to get him as a junior? He was from Darke Peake on the Eyre Peninsula which was in the heart of Port's zone. North "poached" him as a junior then as I said Nunan let him go. Crazy. For all his upside, and I would gladly take a coach who could deliver us a couple of premierships now, Nunan let a lot of very good SANFL players slip through his fingers.

Whilst weve recruited well I dont think weve even got close to replacing the quality we've lost. There was nothing the club could do to lose the players they did so to come out and recruit as well as they have is quite a credit to Greg, Josh, Tubby and co.

Cant disagree, North sorta had their heart and soul ripped out, but look to have done exceptionally well on the recruiting front, both for 2013 and moving forward.
