I'm told by my favourite inside source at the club that he's over here as a "try-out" and he's going to start training with the league squad soon and if the club likes him (i'm told they like him a lot) and he likes it here that he'll atleast play this year for Centrals...i'm told that the kid is very keen.

NAME: Cameron Milne
DOB: 16-Oct-90
HGT: 199cm (another source says 200cm)
WGT: 97 kgs
CLUB: Lauderdale (Tasmania)

BIO: Developing ruckman with great use of the body at stoppages. Works hard into space around the ground and at ground level. Has the ability to work almost all day in the ruck with minimal rest. Led the hit-outs with 122 for Tasmania in NAB AFL U18 Championships.

Also, there's a rumour floating around Elizabeth that Centrals have recruited a "utility from Victoria"...

you could not lose a game all year i dont care cause they whole competition knows the Bays cant handle pressure around finals time and if you are not prepared to admit that you dont know your club that well

well you have said they wont make the top 3 this year, but if my calculations are correct if they go thru the season undefeated they will finish in the top 3 I reckon....You never mentioned finals

Ask the Sturt team from the prelim in 08 how we handled the pressure?

No doubt MacKenzie and Griffen will be the firsts choice ruck combo when available but i think Milne will be handy, and between him and Jack Hannath they should be able to cover Giles role as the third ruckmen, and they both possibly have brighter futures than Giles as well considering how young they are.

Though the biggest room for improvement in 2010 for the dogs imho is getting more game time out of Havelberg and Callinan.

Unlucky not to get drafted. Someone commented on the Net that he's the best young ruckman from Tasmania. With Buckets with a season or two left to play, if Cameron stays and plays and does alright then he'll slot right in.

You played your Grand Final a week early...

Nothing wrong with a bit of competition. I expect to see Buckets play less in Ruck this year.

I think you mean the Qualifying Final. Both 08 and 09!

Don't worry bayman, knowing this, I reckon Lairdy will give Buckets more game time in the middle when the Dogs play the Bays ;)

As it stands I think Josh Carr is one of the most massively overrated AFL footballers in the modern era. He could pinch hard, knows a few swear words and managed to follow the same bloke around most of a game but give him the red leather thing and he's a bit lost. I seriously and honestly hope John Carr plays the season with you.

Mainly by Kris 'optional finals for you too Ricky D?' Massie who's now coaching at Glenelg.

if the bays are relying on Josh Carr they are in more trouble than i first thought
