Adelaide say it was a mutual decision between them and the Bays and that it is in the best interest of Brian's development.

Handy pick up for the Dogs I reckon, will add to their KPP department, although I'm not sure he'll get a league game this year.

Lets just say that i know for a fact that Brian Donnelly would have been dropped very early on if it wasnt for the good relationship between the crows and glenelg. If Glenelg were able to pick their best 21 in the reserves that were not picked in the league, Brian Donnelly would not have been picked!

He will be on the way home to Ireland mid year IMO!!!

So despite the rumours of mass exodus from Brighton Rd, the 2009 Prelim team -> Rnd 1 2010 might have the following changes -

OUT - McGregor, Fisher, Hall
IN - Bode, Tenace, Rudolph, Mules

Adding huge AFL experience, 2008 SANFL team of the year player and the skipper....Im quite comfortable with that... :D

Sounds good to me bring on round 1
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Terrible. Enjoy how good we are. No need to rub it in, no matter how bad their finals campaign was...

Atleast knowone can say we are over the salary cap this year, we should have enough for another two high profile recruits this year imho. Hope the faith the club is putting into the juniors is warranted. Thats the way i see our actual ins and outs for 2010. Time will tell.

Ahh you can add Blocky too and highly unlikely we'll see much of Sellsy in 2010. Mind you Sellsys loss is counteracted by a $200 000 recruit for the year in Josh Carr.

Whichever way you look at it though our ins exceed our outs for 2010.

Yep in terms of win:loss our finals campaign was a disaster, but when you look at 1%ers/"hard things" indicators, possessions, scoring shots and inside 50s we won both finals hands down. What we lacked was polish and self belief. A bit like Centrals in the mid to late 90s. History tells us what happened when they final got that poise, polish and self belief sorted out...

AM Bays

Whilst I'm not a Glenelg supporter I agree with.
Bode & Tenace ( I wish my club has recruited him) are very good pick ups for your midfield. You will also have the services of Rudolph or the whole year plus Carr for most of it as well

Your First Ruck looks very good

Cranston Tenace & Carr. When you throw in Bode at times Kain & even Backwell through the midfiled mix it doesn't look to bad

doesnt look too bad at all, considering all the glenelg bashing that has been going on in reference to half the club walking out over the last 3 months

Okay, I will give it a go.

Even with those additions, you still wouldn't of beaten Sturt in the 2009 prelim.
