Thats typical The Advertiser can say what they like FACT is the dont give a toss about
SANFL unless Crows or Port are involved.I sent them an email yesterday about the very same thing
but they wont read it because they dont care.If they had their way when the season started it would be
pushed to the back of the paper if at all. This is exactly what Roy Laird is saying to most people
including the tossers at The Advertiser the comp is irrelevant.

Hard to see it happening. It means they'd have to do something.

Maybe the clubs should get off their arse and do some self promoting

Been on the SANFL website and not a mention of the trials. If it were me and I knew the sanfl was shit at promoting my games I’d go and do it myself.

The trouble is the sanfl clubs seem as lethargic as the sanfl itself

I'm sure one thinks promotion is the other's responsibility.

Need to get Tim Shaw back involved so we can see kids plodding past an open gate with bored looks on their faces

Whacko, there's a blast from the past. Terrible song, though.

Odd advert. I know there's plenty of shots of the young men of footy at the time, but I noticed David Tiller in a snippet from what must've been 1989. Certainly not a 'young boy' by that stage, nor was Mick Nunan whom I also caught a glimpse of.

I am pleased to announce that SANFL is back on radio this year with 1079 LIFE once again broadcasting SANFL games on a weekly basis.

Life have been SANFL broadcasters since 2002 even getting in one game last year when the Eagles brought them in to broadcast their Eagles Community Carnival Day.

The station will be broadcasting a game every week through the season and also plans to cover the state game and all finals. Radio veteran Doug Oakley will head the commentary team.

In addition the station will introduce SANFL ONE, a one hour pre-game show and 30 minute post game wrap, hosted by myself, meaning each game day broadcast will go for 4 hours.

Life's 1st game will be the Easter Monday clash between Norwood and Sturt at Coopers Stadium, SANFL One will start at 2pm with first bounce 3.10pm.

So I am open to ideas re the new pre-game show.
Normally it will run 1pm to 2pm before crossing to the broadcast game starting 2.10pm.

The show will be ONE hundred percent SANFL ... so what do you want included?
