No coach can turn it around so quick. McGregor left the club in a mess, will take awhile to get them back on track

The football trend is for a new coach to be accompanied by some degree of success and revelation. They were down by 14.13 to 1.2 at 3/4 time and ultimately lost by over a ton. Results were never that bad under Ken. They played Centrals FFS who are clearly the seventh best team. Today's effort is their worst of the season for mine by a mile.

The table doesnt lie, next two weeks are huge for Centrals. Would probably need to pinch one against either the Eagles or Norwood if they want to make finals

Surely after yesterday's effort Handby's position as senior coach has become untenable and he won't be coaching there next season!!!

Would north consider giving Jars a call????

Is Chris Bone Mcdermott's number still kept handy at North?

The Club could consider reigniting Bone's coaching career........

Once we've got all of the shit out of the club that the former Port coach bought over with him, and the crap from higher up that employed him in the 1st place, we'll be heading in the right direction

Is Handby just interim coach for this season or has he been offered the job for a few seasons?

Is this a serious question or a troll? You seem to be very interested in the coaching roles of other clubs when in fact you should be concerned at the recent events at your own club.....

Nah serious question mate but I gotta admit I do enjoy a coach sacking at other clubs and I figure we cop it at South so a bit of banter back doesn't hurt :D

Crows development coach Tate Kaesler has emerged as a frontrunner for the North Adelaide coaching job.

Kaesler, a former North and Sturt player, met with Roosters chief executive Greg Edwards last week and is understood to be the club's new No. 1 target after SANFL talent manager and Under-18 coach Brenton Phillips knocked back the chance to coach his former club.

Dual Norwood premiership player Garry McIntosh, who is coaching SAAFL club Payneham, Crows SANFL coach Heath Younie and nine-time Central District premiership midfielder Chris Gowans have been sounded out for the job. Younie and Gowans have already ruled themselves out.

Stand-in North coach Michael Handby, who replaced Ken McGregor after round nine, on Saturday said he was unlikely to apply for it.

Tate Kaesler met with the CEO, obviously not an interview but a meeting.

One wonders if Kaesler had put in an application for the position, if he has just met with Edwards one would summise that he hadnt.

Perhaps North not happy with the quality that has applied for the position. Just my thoughts

I bet Chris is extremely happy he was 'sound out' over James.

Another notch to him i suppose. :D
