Not true; we certainly draw the line at stacking our team with professionals from another league...

You would hope that they wont be given permission to replace him with another leadership player.

Poor grammar fixed ;)

Just a thought though, how many home grown boys do you have on your collective lists?
Just asking that's all.

I wouldn't, but if it's for the good of the competition, please by all means take the 28yo leadership player rule away. We'll stick with the 23 year olds coming into their footballing prime, whose contracts can be renewed year by year in perpetuity

Eddie Sansbury coming back to SA, mate... :)

Nah, your 'other' favourite Central player...

BEN NASON :)

You've already go $ummerton. You've got every reason to be smug though, i'm sure every club would love to get million dollar handouts and have a list of afl players to choose from, kudos to your club, i'm sure you'll get what you deserve.

Kieran McGuinness won our B&F tonight and then announces his retirement from the SANFL.
Huge loss for the club, fantastic player and top bloke. Best wishes for the future and thanks for the memories K-Mac

And goes out with a proud record: only vice-captain in SANFL history not to be selected in the team for its grand final.

Unfortunately not true. Glenelg vice captain, Lawrie Rosewarne was not selected in the 1973 team. And of course Sturt captain, Chris Thredgold was omitted from the 2002 premiership team.

Yep massive loss, champion player, leader and bloke.

We got by in 2012 when he went down early in the season so hopefully we can do it again.

Didn't exactly follow the sanfl this year, but did slattery get dropped for the Gf? Or dropped for a final before the GF?
