Maybe that player had the same view as the delusional umpire from behind the play, rather than from the scoreboard side where even the Eagles supporters around us couldn't believe what happened after the whistle blew.

I couldn't believe it either , thought the two north fatties running down to the fence were going to have a heart attack and damage the sponsorship signs.

The Eagles Cheer Squad were dressed in red and white were they?

You know the ones, they were singing "you reds" all day with ya.

kick 1.5 in the last and blame the umpires... Take some bloody responsibity for god sakes, sound like a bunch of crow supporters

If that same decision had gone against your team I wonder if you would say nothing and cop it sweet.

I have no issue with the poor kicking etc. andf we were our own worst enemy there and so were the Eagles earlier in the game but the issue that cost us was a clealry wrong umpiring call. What bit of that don't you get?

of course i would be dirty, but i'd be more dirty that my side had 6 shots on goal and still couldn't win!!!! I'd be complaing about that more then a umpires decision...

It was very shakespearean , A tradgedy of the highest order , followed by sorrow, celebrations, laughter and comedy , with a large dash of testosterone.

Need to see the replay. At the game Campbell had prior opportunity (ran for a few metres) and when he was tackled it looked like he didn't get rid of it correctly. Granted they don't seem to pay those any more, although they should. There were 50 other worse calls during the game.

Good work sit on the fence you obviously didnt see it but bask in the glory of the best run of bias umpiring I've ever seen

Ball and incorrect disposal , correct decision.

Standing on the scoreboard hill , perhaps a little high on the tackle.

However the best team won. 8)

Still searching for the law that states that free kicks must be equal at all times otherwise it is indisputable proof of bias for/against a side.

Would love to see stats showing the frees opposition dont get against the Eagles especially at Woodville.
Reckon most opposition fans feel like they get shafted at the Fortress

Doesn't show that we get a good run every game though , does it?

Meaningless statistics to try and prop up your arguement.

Wow, just watched it, and in the words of John Nankervill "YOU'RE JOKING".
Campbell actually copped 2 high tackles and an possibly an in the back from 2 players!
Worse comes to worse if the umpire missed the first 3 infringements the ball got knocked out in the tackle which is play on.
You'd hope the umpire just had a crazy brain fade or went blind and guessed as noone that saw it could possibly be that incompetent and get a league game!

As I said before, normally the umpires never give North a holding the ball in front of goals or late in the last quarter. To do the opposite when clearly there was 2 high tackles and possibly an in the back and the ball gets knocked out in the tackle is a disgrace, the nearest umpires should never ever get a game again. In fact even the furthest away umpires shouldn't either, anyone at the ground should have overruled that disgraceful effort.

And anyone who disagrees is a troll or has absolutely no idea about the game.
