No we care for footy in this state, and while most of us hate everything Port we also know that the drain on SA Footy cannot continue from Alberton however while other clubs put words into actions all we seem to hear from Alberton is blaming others.
It's not a blame game. It's obviously a very complex set of circumstances that have seen us arrive where we are. Many of them within our control, no doubt about it and not something that any of us on here who have no real influence on the clubs actions or by those in charge at Alberton have shyed away from and some are not. Is that so hard to understand?
YOu made the same speech 5 years ago.
And Nothings changed.
Which I predicted btw.

Agreed Keith Thomas must be the most impressive CEO to oversee a $6 mill loss in his first season I've ever seen.
Didnt he come up with MONSFAW.Maybe for port you could have the Proud Of Our Past Squad.

Ahh, still reading the Crapvertiser I see UK. Obviously you've missed the part (conveniently) where the other 8 clubs that received $1.6M or more, also didn't include that EFF (equalization fund figure) in their P&L figures.

UK Fan wrote:CHAIRMAN David Koch has conceded Port Adelaide made a number of blunders as it staggered to a pre-grant operating loss of $6.3 million when he addressed key stakeholders at a lunch at Alberton yesterday.
But Koch, who spoke passionately about a new beginning, said the Power was not alone in struggling to make ends meet.
He said the club's initial report of a loss of $2.1 million - after grants from the AFL and the SANFL had softened the blow - gave a better guide to the club's affairs.
The TV identity and financial expert did not - and could not - dispute The Advertiser's figure of a $6 million-plus operating loss in yesterday's edition, except for questioning what should be considered a grant and what should be considered an entitled revenue.

But of course you realise that this article contains no quotes and has already been refuted by both the chairman and the CEO right?
